Born in complete freedom of mountain life, inspired by the uplifting nature that sang around his village, the founder, Khakendra Pun, has written four memoirs. Simple Happiness – is his life growing up in Ulleri village in Nepal. Boarding School Days in Kathmandu – his experiences attending private boarding schools in Kathmandu. Inevitable Dreams – twenty-seven years on the road, his journey in American land. His latest book, Confessions Through the Rearview Mirror – is stories about people of New York who were in the backseat of his cab during seven years of taxi driving.
He is also a producer of a documentary film title, A Lost Village in the Himalayas. The founder has dedicated seventeen years of his life to filming, preserving the cultures of these mountain villagers, the meaning of life seen through his own eyes. With the purchase of his books and documentary film, the founder will personally contribute 50% of his sales towards building this health clinic. With kindness and love that we all display around each other will slowly uplift our spirits and give hope to those who are less fortunate.
